Although the 101 Concepts restaurant brand originated here in Atlanta, its roots can be traced back to New York City, where busboys Steve Buero, Phil Roness and Chris Segal spent their college years back in the 1980’s. Settling in Atlanta after graduation, the three best friends debuted Food 101 in 1999, and over the course of the past 15 plus years, have brought various Atlanta neighborhoods nine flavorful additions to the restaurant landscape. Thanks to the leadership of “the boys,” 101 Concepts has brought quality ingredients to the table and served them with unparalleled expertise and hospitality. Their restaurants offer something for every taste – American, Italian, barbecue, fine dining and Irish pub food. Don’t be fooled by the name, although the “101” restaurants are indeed approachable, they are far from basic. 101 Concepts is thrilled to showcase their different flavors under one tent at this year’s Atlanta Brunch Festival!
